Who owns the content I create? Who owns the content created by my audience?

  • If you’ve created it, it’s yours! 
  • The same applies for your audience’s content. They’ve created it, so it’s theirs. However, your users will no doubt create content that’s special and worthy of a share to a wider community. With that in mind we’ve included the below in the T&Cs for app users: 

Any content you upload or post to the App will be considered non-confidential and non-proprietary. You will own your content, but you hereby grant us, our licensee’s and any third parties and other users of the App (each as we determine) a perpetual, irrevocable, royalty-free, transferable, sub-licensable, worldwide license to use, store and copy that content and to distribute it and make it available to third parties via any and all media, including, without limitation, the right for us to upload and make available and to authorise third parties to make available such content to third party sites and services, including social media applications and channels such as Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, YouTube, Instagram and on the Publisher's own websites.
