You're busy, we know. So here's a rundown on some of our most used Zapier Integrations.
What can Zapier do for me?
If you're wondering what Zapier can do for your app, here's the answer. It can create a seamless bridge between your app and another system. There is no complex development needed, it's all set up for you to easily configure it yourself.
This isn't an exhaustive list of all of the available Triggers and Actions, but it can give you an idea of what is available!
Types of Zaps ⚡️
It is important to distinguish between the 2 different types of Zap we use! They are the Triggers and the Actions.
The Zaps ⚡️ (Triggers)
- The New User Zap (trigger):
- Direct all of your members to Zapier so that all new members automatically get sent to Zapier as soon as they sign up for your app. Doing this allows you to add these members to your mailing lists, create a dedicated list of app users or customize your onboarding flow.
- User Deleted Zap (trigger):
- This will trigger if a user account is deleted from your Community. Great if you need to update your CRM data.
- New Post Zap (trigger):
- Send all the posts made in your app to Zapier. This will allow you to apply additional moderation or store and analyse the posting in your app.
- New Comment Zap (trigger):
- Send all the comments made in your app to Zapier. This will allow you to apply additional moderation or store and analyse the comments made in your app.
- Subscription Became Active Zap (trigger):
- Send all notifications for when a member subscribes to your app. No matter whether you add them remotely, they pay via Apple/Google or you grant them access via your console, this Zap will fire and give you the start and end date of the subscription, as well as the user name and custom profile field data for the member.
- Subscription Became Expired Zap (trigger):
- Get notified when a member unsubscribes or does not renew the subscription to your app. Just like the became active Zap this Zap will give you the start and end date of the subscription, as well as the user name and custom profile field data for the member.
- Product Purchased Zap (trigger):
- Send all the Product purchased information from your app to Zapier. This will allow you to apply additional marketing or store and analyse the products purchased via your app.
- Product Changed Zap (trigger):
- If you have multiple tiers of subscriptions available, this will trigger when a user changes the product they have purchased.
- User Updated Zap (trigger):
- Send all the custom profile info for a member when they sign up or update their personal info.
- User Joined Group Zap (trigger):
- This will trigger when a user joins a Group they were not already a part of.
- User Left Group Zap (trigger):
- If a member leaves a Group, this can be set to a specific action.
The Zaps ⚡️ (Actions)
- The Invite User link Zap (action):
- Create a customized invite link to your app based on actions from another medium. The mechanism is a simple as that. For example, you may have a marketing list or another system you use to store information, you can create a zap to create the invite code in your app's console.
- The Create a Post Zap (action):
- Create posts in the app from a Zap. Some hosts want to find a more efficient way of posting rather than doing it manually in the Console. If you post regularly or want to replicate a post, you can seamlessly build a Zap that will create a post to a group of your choice in your app.
- Add User to Group (action):
- Automate actions regarding group membership from outside the app. Configure this Zap to auto-enroll your member to the correct group. All you need to do to make it work is know exactly what group you are trying to add that member to and make sure you have the email pulled into Zapier to use in the Zap.
- Remove User from Group (action):
- Automate actions regarding group membership from outside the app, continued! Configure this Zap to automatically remove your member from a group. Similar to the above, this is all about the email of the member. Use this to remove them from a group where needed.
-
Create Subscription Preregistration (action):
- Configure this Zap to preregister a subscription to an email address which will be assigned once the user registers.
- Add Subscription to Member (action):
- Automate actions regarding subscriptons from outside the app. Configure this Zap to auto add a subscription to your member. All you need to do to make it work is to know exactly who you are trying to add the subscription to and how long you want to give them. You will just need to make sure you have the members' email pulled into Zapier to use in the Zap.
- Expire Member Subscription (action):
- Automate actions regarding subscriptions from outside the app. Configure this Zap to auto-expire the subscription your member holds. All you need to do to make it work is to know exactly who you are trying to remove the subscription from and make sure you set the zap to work when you need it to as this call will immediately cancel the subscription. As before, you will also need to make sure you have the members' email pulled into Zapier to use in the Zap.
-
Add Badge to User (action):
- You can create this Action so that a Trigger will result in a requested Badge being added to a users profile. For example, you can set the 'user joined group' trigger to action adding a specific badge to that user.
-
Remove Badge from User (action):
- You can create this Action, so that a set Trigger will result in a requested Badge being removed from a users profile. For example, you can set the 'user left group' trigger to action removing a specific badge from that user.
