Remind free members about your subscription plan

Enable this on your community if you want your community members browsing the community for free to hit the paywall early on.

If you feel new members joining your community are taking their time to stumble upon the paywall which showcases your subscription plan, you can enable one or both following options.

Disclaimer: For communities monetising their community with the freemium model only. This doesn't apply to communities that aren't monetising or monetising with the premium monetising model.

In the Console, in the "Monetisation" page, you'll find at the bottom the "Add prompts to free members experience" section.

Display a subscription banner for free members on the right sidebar on the web desktop experience

By enabling this option, you'll add a banner on the right side of the desktop experience on your web community app.

This banner will only be seen by members of your community that do not have a valid subscription. Members with a subscription won't see it.

You can customise the title, the description and the button to what you think works best for your community.

The preview will help you to visualise how it would appear before you publish your changes and enable it.

Display a notification in all free members' notification center

By enabling this option, you'll add a notification item at the top of all your free members.

This notification item will only be displayed in the notification center screen of members of your community that do not have a valid subscription. Members with a subscription won't see it.

You can customise the message displayed. You can even use an emoji if you like.

The preview will help you to visualise how it would appear before you publish your changes and enable it.

As long as the notification item remains unread, the notification will remain pinned at the top of all notifications. Once read, the notification will stop being pinned at the top and will follow.
